If you’re reading this, I’m sure you enjoy clean surfaces in your home, without having to use traditional cleaners, which contain harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances. Especially with little ones in the house, right? I agree! This is why I opt to make my own, such as this natural all-purpose cleaner.
Making your own… is it hard?
Making your own cleaners may seem like a huge chore, which I get. It is why I didn’t do it for years and instead spent tons of money purchasing natural cleaners. Then, when I was tired of paying so much extra money and realized that my purchases where not so natural after all… I made a change. In that change I discovered how easy and simple it was to make my own cleaning products and I found out that it was NOT a huge chore at all!
Yes getting into it, researching and purchasing all the ingredients and glass containers is a little overwhelming… but I have links for you here and have done all the research for you. 👏
Why these ingredients for an all-purpose cleaner?
If you haven’t read my post on my favorite Natural Homemade Disinfectant Spray, check it out now. You’ll find the recipe and grasp an understanding of why and how the ingredients work at disinfecting. All are the ingredients are the same for this all-purpose cleaner, minus the alcohol. So the why and how they work are described in that post!
White vinegar is a warrior when it comes to cleaning your home. It’s about 5% acidity, is why it is an outstanding cleaning agent. Vinegar has been used for centuries to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. It is great at removing dirt, grime, grease, soap scum, sticky stuff and other built up deposits of yucky-ness around your house.
Tea Tree and Lemongrass essential oils are fantastic at disinfecting and cleaning, plus they have such a beautiful sent!
