Oatmeal Raisin Protein Cookies
Natural momma and kid approved cookies!
They are so good that Oliver made them his lunch today… which, I was ok with (because of the ingredients) and it made him feel extra special. He said, “Cookies for lunch, what?!” and thought it was such a huge deal.
They have been Olivers favorite since he was 1 and are now Lincoln’s favorite also!

The ingredients are so good for you
- Rolled Oats are filled with fiber which helps lower cholesterol and keeps you regular. Oats also contain all sorts of good nutrients and antioxidants.
- Bananas are high in potassium, fiber, vitamin B6 and vitamin C.
- No sugar added- Applesauce promotes digestion because of the high concentration of pectin, which helps remove waste from the body. It also helps promote growth of probiotics. Apples are loaded with fiber and vitamin C as well.
- Raisins are high in iron and add in digestion as well.
- Silk’s Original Almond Cashew Protein Milk contains a good amount of iron and 10g of pea protein. It also has more good fats and less sugar than regular cow’s milk. Plus, the same amount of Vitamin D and Calcium as 2% cow’s milk.
- Cinnamon has high anti-inflammatory properties and is loaded with antioxidants, which protect your body from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. Cinnamon also helps slow the digestion of glucose, which adds in lowering blood sugar levels.
- Chia Seeds, Hemp Seeds, Flax Seeds contain good fats (the ones our bodies need), protein, antioxidants and fiber.
- Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth Protein Powder is rich in minerals that support the immune system and has healing compounds. Bone broth protein is great for the gut and decreasing intestinal inflammation. Plus it has 20 grams of protein per 2 TBS!
- Spirulina is full of amazing nutrients. It is a superfood no doubt, but is also an excellent source of protein, iron and B6.
(P.S. A lot of these ingredients are cheeper on Thrive Market…cheeper then amazon and most local grocery stores!)
